Patent Abstract
The adapter (7) has a septum part (5) provided with a bore (6) for receiving a sample rack (14). A two-way valve (9) is in communication with the adapter and engaged with an opposite side of a thread (10). The thread is engaged with a nut (11). A seal (12) is placed in the nut and provided with a bore. A probe rod (14) receives a solid sample, and is fixed with the seal by the nut. The two-way valve, another thread (8) and the septum part are connected with a feed line (16) and an end of the sample rack.
