Method and Device for Generating Electrical Current and Use of an Organic Compound for Generating Electrical Current
Simple SummaryContent extracted from patent full text and abstract with AI.
This patent discloses a method and apparatus for generating electricity using organic compounds—with at least one ether function—reacted with water in an acidic environment to create a hydrogen-rich carrier medium. This medium is then used in a fuel cell to produce electricity while converting to a depleted hydrogen medium and generating water. The technology enables efficient energy storage and conversion by utilizing certain organic liquids as hydrogen carriers in fuel cells, and it can operate in a closed loop, improving efficiency and reducing emissions.
Use CasesContent extracted from patent full text and abstract with AI.
- Mobile power supply for electric vehicles (cars, buses, trucks)
- Power source for drones and aircraft
- Portable generators or backup power units
- Off-grid and remote power applications
- Decentralized electricity generation systems
