Independent claims are included for the following: (1) kit for performing the above-cited method which comprises substrate with hydrophobic substances, standard solution, scavenger molecule, probe, substrate with scavenger molecules solutions and buffers; and (2) use of antibodies for removing amyloid beta oligomers comprising (a) retro-inverso sequence of amyloid beta oligomers and/or (b) multimerization domain of amyloid beta oligomers.
