Method for identifying sample in container, involves disposing container with sample in form of resonator and high-frequency signal is injected into resonator for exciting resonant mode of resonator
Simple SummaryContent extracted from patent full text and abstract with AI.
This patent describes a method and device for identifying a sample contained within a container by using the container itself as a resonator. High-frequency signals are injected to excite resonant modes, and the resulting changes in the resonance curve—measured with and without the sample—are used for identification. The method works with containers made of glass, plastic, or ceramic, with or without some metallic elements.
Use CasesContent extracted from patent full text and abstract with AI.
- Quality control in pharmaceutical or food industries for non-invasively verifying the contents of containers
- Authentication and anti-counterfeiting measures by identifying unique resonance signatures of products
- Monitoring and identification of hazardous or sensitive samples in laboratories without opening containers
- Inline process monitoring in manufacturing environments to ensure correct substances are used
BenefitsContent extracted from patent full text and abstract with AI.
- Non-invasive identification of samples without opening containers, preserving sample integrity
- Applicable to various container materials, increasing flexibility in industrial use
- Rapid and potentially automated identification process, saving time and labor
- May enhance safety by enabling identification of hazardous materials without direct exposure

Patent Abstract
The method involves disposing container with the sample in the form of a resonator (8). A high-frequency signal is injected into the resonator for exciting a resonant mode of the resonator. The resonant electric field of the resonator penetrates a part of the sample in the container and the resonance curve of resonant mode is measured with and without the sample. The sample container has label of glass or plastic or ceramic with or without partial metallization and the opening of the metallic housing is directed towards the sample container. An independent claim is also included for a device for executing the method.
