Die Erfindung betrifft einen Verbundwerkstoff, umfassend eine metallische Matrix, in die eine Füllstoffkomposition eingebettet ist, wobei die Füllstoffkomposition weniger als 70 Vol.-% des Verbundwerkstoffs ausmacht und Kohlenstofffasern und Graphit umfasst. Die Erfindung betrifft auch ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Verbundwerkstoffs. Auf diese Weise ist es möglich, einen Werkstoff und ein Bauteil bereitzustellen, die eine möglichst hohe thermische Leitfähigkeit bei einer möglichst geringen thermischen Ausdehnung aufweisen.
