Simple SummaryContent extracted from patent full text and abstract with AI.

This invention relates to a method and device for assessing the health status of animals by measuring blood circulation variables at multiple body points. The collected signals are analyzed with a hemodynamic model to determine, using conditional probability, the likelihood of specific health statements about the animal.

Patent Abstract

The method involves measuring the measured variables of the blood circulation in the bloodstream of the animal at multiple points of the body of the animal. A set of measured signals, which represent the measured variables, are generated. A conditional probability of applying a statement on the health status of the animal is determined outside the animal in the presence of the set of measured signals. A hemodynamic model is used while determining the probability. The hemodynamic model is suitable to simulate the blood circulation of the animal. An independent claim is included for a device for assessing the health status of an animal.
