Synogate is a German technology startup based in Berlin, focused on advancing digital circuit design for semiconductors. Leveraging methods and tools from software development, especially agile and iterative approaches, Synogate quickly develops highly performant, flexible, and custom hardware solutions. Their expertise spans digital circuit design, high-speed network appliances (such as stateful firewalls and CDN platforms), hardware offloading, FPGA/ASIC prototyping, as well as AI accelerator chips for large language model inference. Synogate offers both standard IP-cores (such as HashCache, Tiny Cuckoo Core, and Anti-Replay Core) and consulting/services for custom RTL/FPGA/ASIC design. Their open-source Hardware Construction Library, Gatery, enables faster and more accessible hardware design. Synogate has provided technology approved by the German Federal Office of Information Security (BSI), is funded by federal German innovation programs, and is involved in industry initiatives and partnerships.
