The Center for Empirical Social Research (ZeS) at the Institute for Social Sciences of Humboldt University Berlin focuses on applied social research. ZeS conducts empirical studies in all major areas of social science research, ensuring the highest scientific quality standards. It offers comprehensive consultation and support from the design and implementation to the analysis of empirical studies, including telephone and online surveys, qualitative research, and mixed-method approaches. The center operates its own telephone laboratory for efficient data collection and collaborates closely with academic and societal partners, providing expertise in survey design, data analysis, training, and the development of research methodologies.
