Patent Abstract
The method involves mixing coating particles that incorporate for triggering radicals suitable for a radical crosslinking reaction during the coating process with a plasma-generated gas such that a cross-linking is introduced. Surfaces are coated under atmospheric pressure. Moist air is led by a feeding device (4) through a coaxial microwave plasma source for creation of a reactive working gas such that plasma is created. Gases and gaseous mixtures are used for ionization and creation of radicals. An independent claim is also included for a device for coating surfaces with polymerizable material.
