Patent Abstract
The invention relates to devices for therapy and diagnostics in the retroperitoneum, in the lumbar region and in the lower lung and/or pleural area of a patient, which enable simple therapy and diagnostics. For this purpose, a base unit is a carrier of a first seat, a second seat and a support unit. The first seat has an adjustable seating surface and backrest for a seated physician. The second seat has an adjustable seating surface and an adjustable and foldable backrest for the seated patient. The support unit comprises armrests and at least one knee support for the seated patient. Furthermore, the support unit has an adjustable support for supporting at least the chest of the seated patient. The first seat, the second seat and the support unit are movable. Moreover, the backrest of the first seat, the seating surface of the first seat, the seating surface of the second seat and the support of the support unit are adjustable such that a surface for a lying patient is provided.
