The invention relates to a liquid supply device (1) and to a method (10) for the production thereof. The aim of the invention is to ensure that liquids (F) can be uniformly fed to a liquid sink, even if a liquid source has a smaller passage width (B2) than the liquid sink. In order to achieve this aim, it is provided according to the invention that a bottom (5) of the liquid supply device (1) is designed such that a liquid (F) flowing through the inlet opening (2) into the liquid supply device (1) with a predefined maximum volumetric flow simultaneously reaches the outlet opening (4) essentially over the entire outlet width (b4) of the outlet opening (4), the bottom (5) having a rising course.
