Multi-Piston Contrast Medium Injector
AISimple SummaryContent extracted from patent full text and abstract with AI.
The invention describes a multi-piston injector for administering contrast agents, featuring a chamber with at least one tube outlet, a receiving chamber for the injection solution, and a pressure chamber separated by a specially-designed partition. This partition allows the volume of both chambers to change accordingly for efficient and controlled delivery of the injection solution.

Patent Abstract
The invention relates to an injector with a chamber housing (2) having at least one tube (3) which forms an outlet from the chamber housing (2), at least one receiving chamber (4) for receiving an injection solution, and at least one pressure chamber (5), wherein at least one separating device (6, 6a) is arranged between the receiving chamber (4) and the pressure chamber (5), which separates the receiving chamber (4) from the pressure chamber (5), wherein the separating device (6) is designed such that the volume of the receiving chamber (4) and the volume of the pressure chamber (5) are variable, wherein an increase in the volume in the pressure chamber (5) causes a reduction in the volume in the receiving chamber (4), so that received injection solution can be pressed out through the tube (3) from the chamber housing (2).
