The invention relates to a catheter (1) for measuring endovascular radioactive radiation, having an essentially tubular shape, an inner lumen (2), a proximal end (p) and a distal end (d) end, the catheter (1) having, in the distal area, at least one first detector (3) for measuring radioactive radiation (5, 6) and at least one first shield (4) for shielding against radioactive radiation, the first shield (4) being arranged such that only radioactive radiation can be measured (6) on the outer face of the catheter by the first detector(s).
