Electrically operated valve
AISimple SummaryContent extracted from patent full text and abstract with AI.
This patent describes an electrically operated valve with innovative positioning of the media connections close to the control head. It features a consistent, narrow gap between the control head and the media connections, and uses the orientation and movement of the control head to selectively open or close fluid pathways.
Use CasesContent extracted from patent full text and abstract with AI.
- Industrial fluid control systems where precise electronic regulation of fluids is required
- Automated process plants needing reliable and compact valve solutions
- Medical devices involving fluid management
- Food and beverage processing equipment for sanitary fluid handling
BenefitsContent extracted from patent full text and abstract with AI.
- Improved precision and reliability in controlling fluid flow due to electronic actuation
- Compact design enables installation in space-constrained environments
- Enhanced sealing and reduced leakage risk because of the consistent gap structure
- Flexible operation, allowing partial or complete connection between fluid pathways depending on need

Patent Abstract
Electrically operated valve comprises media connections (4) arranged in a housing close to a front or side surface of a control head (1). A radial or axial gap of a constant width is formed between the control head and the media connections. The discharge direction of the media connections is orientated in the radial or axial gap perpendicular to the tangent of the control head. The control head has recesses (5) which completely or partially release a fluid connection between the media connections depending on the position relative to the media connections. Preferred Features: The radial gap is curved in a cylindrical manner between the control head and media connections and has a constant width.
