Moosaik UG is a German startup focused on developing and commercializing modular facade systems that use moss to filter air pollution and improve living quality in cities. Their dual-panel system combines a customizable, attractive front side and a moss-based rear side that acts as a biofilter to capture CO2, NOx, fine dust, and other pollutants. Originating from several years of research and development in collaboration with local universities and supported by funding from regional innovation programs, Moosaik aims to promote sustainable urban development by enhancing air, noise, and microclimate in dense urban environments.
