Simple SummaryContent extracted from patent full text and abstract with AI.

The invention describes a method for recycling silicon waste, especially from solar modules. The process involves mixing silicon waste with red mud and subjecting the mixture to high temperatures (800°C to 1700°C) to produce a ferrosilicon alloy.

Use CasesContent extracted from patent full text and abstract with AI.

  • Recycling silicon waste from end-of-life solar panels.
  • Recovering valuable materials from industrial silicon scrap.
  • Producing ferrosilicon alloy for use in steelmaking and metallurgy.
  • Reducing landfill waste associated with solar panel disposal.
  • Processing industrial byproducts (red mud) in combination with silicon waste.

BenefitsContent extracted from patent full text and abstract with AI.

  • Enables sustainable and efficient recycling of silicon waste, lowering environmental impact.
  • Provides an additional source of ferrosilicon alloy, reducing reliance on primary raw materials.
  • Combines two waste streams (silicon waste and red mud) for value-added products.
  • Reduces disposal costs and environmental burden of solar panel and industrial waste.
  • Supports circular economy initiatives in the renewable energy and metallurgical sectors.

Patent Abstract
