Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Verfahren zur Aufbereitung von gebrauchtem Katalysator-Material enthaltend Silicat-Phosphat-Materialien auf Basis von Silicium, Sauerstoff, Wasserstoff und Phosphor, unter Gewinnung von Phosphorsäure, umfassend die Schritte:a) Kalzinieren des Katalysator-Materials bei 250 bis 950°C in Sauerstoffhaltiger Atmosphäre,b)i) Behandlung des kalzinierten Materials mit Wasser und/oder einer Mineralsäure oder Mineralsäuremischung unter Bildung von silikatischem Rückstand und Rohphosphorsäureoderii) Behandlung des kalzinierten Materials mit einer anorganischen Base unter Bildung von silikatischem Rückstand und einer basischen Lösung oder Suspension, enthaltend gelöste und/oder ungelöste Phosphorsalze der Base,c) Saurer Aufschluss des ungelösten Phosphatsalzes und/oder Reinigung der Rohphosphorsäre zur Gewinnung von Phosphorsäure.
