The invention relates to a process for producing an organic compound having a group of the formula IA or of the formula IB, wherein a compound that has a group of the general formula IIA or of the general formula IIB in which R1, R2 and R3 are independently selected from the group that consists of hydrogen, a substituted or unsubstituted C1-C12 alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted C1-C12 heteroalkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted heterocycloalkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group, a substituted or unsubstituted heteroaryl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkylaryl group, a substituted or unsubstituted amino group, and a substituted or unsubstituted arylalkyl group; is reacted with a hydrogenation agent to the organic group that has a group of the formula IA or of the formula IB, and a hydridosilane.
