Process for Technogenic Sedimentation of Low-Grade Slurries
Simple SummaryContent extracted from patent full text and abstract with AI.
This invention describes a method to improve the sedimentation and concentration of low-value sludge—particularly phosphate-containing sludge—on a sloped surface by controlling the rinsing process and predicting where the sludge will concentrate using mathematical modeling. The process uses multiple active outlet pipes to evenly distribute and manage flow, optimizing the concentration of valuable minerals from the sludge for further recycling or enrichment.

Patent Abstract
The method for technological sedimentation of low valuable sludge (S) on rising surface (A) of residual stockpile, comprises concentrating the sludge through a controllable rinsing regime in a determined area of the sedimentation of the sludge stream on the rinsing surface at mineral-containing recyclable material. The rinsing regime increases the influence of the rinsing parameter, input-solid phase content, input-flow rate and gradient of the rinsing surface. The rinsing is carried out over simultaneously active outlet pipes (R). The sludge consists of phosphate. The concentrated material is rinsed for the purpose of further enrichment in the residual stockpiles. The area of the concentrated deposition is prognosticated under consideration of the interaction between the rinsing parameter of the sludge and flow parameter of the sludge by a mathematical model. The flow parameters are flow width and flow velocity along the rising surface and/or a sedimentation parameter formed by particle size, shape and density of the recyclable particles. Different contents are determined on the concentrated mineral-containing recyclable materials within an area of individual zones.
