Es wird eine Telemetrievorrichtung, insbesondere Bohrkopftelemetrievorrichtung, zur Datenübertragung über ein flüssiges Medium (26), vorgeschlagen. Die Telemetrievorrichtung aufweisend: ein Kanalelement (44), das eingerichtet ist, das flüssige Medium (26) in einem Innenvolumen (46) zu führen, eine an dem Kanalelement (44) angeordneten Verdrängungseinheit (50), die zumindest ein erstes Verdrängungselement (52, 54) aufweist, das zumindest einen Teil einer Begrenzungsfläche des Innenvolumens (46) bildet, und eine Treibereinheit (60), die eingerichtet ist, zumindest das erste Verdrängungselement (52, 54) entsprechend eines Steuersignals in das Innenvolumen (46) hinein und/oder heraus zu bewegen, um ein mechanisches Signal auf das geführte flüssige Medium (26) zu übertragen.
