Die Erfindung betrifft eine Zugvorrichtung für einen Löffel eines Schleppschaufelbaggers, bei der eine Hauptzugkette (34) an einer Stirnseite mit einer Aufwickeleinrichtung für die Hauptzugkette (34) und an der anderen Stirnseite mit einem Basiselement (31) verbunden ist und am Basiselement (31) ein rotationssymmetrisches Element (35), das um eine Rotationsachse, die senkrecht zur Zugrichtung der Hauptzugkette (34) ausgerichtet ist, drehbar gelagert ist, befestigt ist. Um den äußeren Umfang des rotationssymmetrischen Elements (35) ist ein Drahtseil (37) geführt. Dabei ist an den Stirnseiten des Drahtseils (37) jeweils eine Anschlagscheibe (38A und 38B) befestigt und daran sind jeweils eine Zugkette (39A und 39B) befestigt ist und die Zugketten (39A und 39B) an Seitenwänden des Löffels (40) befestigbar.
