Method for Producing Glass Fibers Used in the Manufacture of Support Structures for Vacuum Insulation Panels and Glass Fibers Produced Thereby
Simple SummaryContent extracted from patent full text and abstract with AI.
The patent describes a method for producing glass fibers, specifically designed for use in support structures of vacuum insulation panels. The process involves coating the surface of the glass fibers with a porous oxide layer, which is then treated with a salt solution. Through thermal treatment, the salt crystallizes within the pores of the oxide layer, firmly bonding to the glass fiber surface. This results in a specially coated glass fiber that can be used to form textile support structures in vacuum insulation panels.
Use CasesContent extracted from patent full text and abstract with AI.
- Manufacture of advanced vacuum insulation panels for building construction and refrigeration units
- Production of high-performance insulating materials for appliances like refrigerators and freezers
- Creation of thermally efficient packaging for temperature-sensitive products
- Development of lightweight, durable support structures in civil engineering applications
BenefitsContent extracted from patent full text and abstract with AI.
- Improves the mechanical stability and durability of vacuum insulation panels
- Enhances the bond between the glass fibers and the support structure, reducing material degradation
- Provides better insulation performance due to improved structure and material properties
- Enables the production of high-performance, energy-efficient insulation solutions

Patent Abstract
