Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Abtrennung eines oder mehrerer Polysiloxane aus einem Material, das zusätzlich zu dem oder den Polysiloxanen zumindest eine weitere Komponente enthält. Dabei ist vorgesehen, dass das Verfahren die Schritte umfasst:(a) Bereitstellen des Materials, das das oder die Polysiloxane enthält; und(b) Umsetzen des oder der Polysiloxans zu einer oder mehreren Fluorsilan-Verbindungen durch Behandlung des Materials mit einer Fluorid-haltigen Lösung.
