Signal Processing System and Signal Processing Method
Simple SummaryContent extracted from patent full text and abstract with AI.
This invention describes a signal processing system that uses multiple digital-to-analog converters (DACs) to improve output signal quality, sampling rate, and bandwidth. The system intelligently splits a sampled signal into frequency segments, processes them through separate DACs, and then recombines the results to produce a better-quality analog signal.
Use CasesContent extracted from patent full text and abstract with AI.
- High-quality audio signal generation systems
- Advanced radar and communication systems requiring broadband signal output
- Base stations in wireless telecommunications with stringent signal quality needs
- Test and measurement equipment needing precise wideband signal generation
- Broadcast and studio equipment requiring high-fidelity digital-to-analog conversion
BenefitsContent extracted from patent full text and abstract with AI.
- Delivers improved output signal quality by optimally processing different frequency components
- Enables higher sample rates and increased signal bandwidth
- Reduces artifacts and distortions typically associated with DAC limitations
- Supports scalable and flexible system architectures by using multiple DACs
- Offers greater design options for demanding wireless and audio applications

Patent Abstract
To provide a signal processing system including a plurality of DACs and having improved output signal quality and/or sample rate and/or bandwidth.SOLUTION: A signal processing system 1 includes at least first, second, and third DA converters 31 to 33 (DAC), a processing unit 21 that divides a sampled signal into at least first and second signals corresponding to different frequency portions of the sampled signal, transmits the first signal to the first DAC 31, and divides the second signal into first and second signals, transmits the first sub signal to the second DAC 32, and transmits the second sub signal to the third DAC 33, an IQ mixer 600 that mixes an analog output signal of the second DAC 32 and an analog output signal of the third DAC 33, and a combiner 4 that combines the analog output signal of the first DAC 31 and the output signal of the IQ mixer 600.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
