Method and system for presenting in collaboration
Simple SummaryContent extracted from patent full text and abstract with AI.
This invention presents a method and system for conducting virtual collaborative presentations. It separates media content (like images and video) from other presentation data, dynamically scales the media data based on the receiver's device capabilities and network connection, and then merges it back with the rest of the presentation data for synchronized display. The processing and adaptation take place on centralized network components (such as cloud servers), ensuring resource efficiency and compatibility with a wide range of receiving devices, including those with limited capabilities.
Use CasesContent extracted from patent full text and abstract with AI.
- Corporate virtual meetings with participants using diverse devices and bandwidths
- Distance education or e-learning platforms delivering content to students with varied digital access
- Webinars or online conferences where the audience joins via smartphones, tablets, or workstations
- Remote technical support presentations (e.g., in IT, engineering, healthcare) requiring adaptive media delivery
- Cloud-based collaborative work sessions for geographically dispersed teams
BenefitsContent extracted from patent full text and abstract with AI.
- Optimizes presentations for each user's device and connection, improving user experience regardless of their equipment or bandwidth
- Reduces hardware requirements on the sender and receiver sides by offloading scaling and synchronization to the network/cloud
- Enables synchronous, consistent visual and multimedia delivery to all participants, preventing lags and mismatches between audio and visual streams
- Supports role switching between presenter and participant dynamically
- Increases accessibility, including for users with disabilities or special viewing/hearing needs
- Facilitates large-scale, device-agnostic collaboration and content sharing

Patent Abstract
The method involves extracting the media content imaging data of the presentation before transferring to a terminal (1,2) from the data stream with presentation data. The data steam is transmitted during the presentation. The media content imaging data is scaled to fit the respective receiver-sided performance at the presentation and is controlled by a unit (6) arranged in a network (3). The network is provided to connect the terminal of the participants. The media content imaging data is merged with the other presentation data. An independent claim is included for a system for performing virtual presentations at the collaborative cooperation of users or computer-based terminal.
