Simple SummaryContent extracted from patent full text and abstract with AI.

This patent presents a method for preparing mesoporous metal carbonate or metal oxide materials in the form of films, fibers, or powders. The process uses a special solution containing an organic template (which forms micelles), metal precursors, and complex binders, and involves dispersing the solution as droplets to form the desired structures, followed by calcination to obtain the final product.

Patent Abstract

Preparing mesoporous-metal carbonate or metal oxide films, fibers or powders, where the carbonate or oxide contains a metal or different metals, comprises preparing a solution comprising a polar organic solvent and/or water as solvent, at least one organic template formed in a solvent micelle, at least one metal precursor and at least one organic complex binder, dispersing the solution in a distribution device in droplets for the formation of a powder or fibers or coating a substrate with the solution for the formation of the film, and calcining the product. Preparing mesoporous-metal carbonate or metal oxide films, fibers or powders using micelle-forming template, where the carbonate or oxide contains a metal or different metals, comprises either preparing a solution comprising a polar organic solvent and/or water as solvent, at least one organic template formed in a solvent micelle, at least one metal precursor and at least one organic complex binder, where the complex binder comprises at least one carboxyl group and optionally one or more hydroxy groups and is formed with the metal precursor in the solution of a chemical metal precursor-complex, or preparing a first solution comprising the solvent and the organic template forming the micelle and preparing a second solution comprising the solvent, the metal precursor and the organic complex binder so that the organic complex binder and the metal precursor are formed in the solution of the metal precursor-complex and the two solutions are combined, dispersing the solution in a distribution device in droplets for the formation of a powder or fibers or coating a substrate with the solution for the formation of the film, where, during spraying, coating and evaporating, the solvent of the micelles formed by the template is regularly arranged, and calcining the product so that the metal precursor complex is converted to the corresponding metal carbonate, and, optionally, upon further calcination, the metal carbonate is converted into the corresponding metal oxide. An independent claim is included for template mesoporous metal carbonate films or fibers made of a magnesium carbonate, calcium carbonate, zinc carbonate, cobalt carbonate or aluminum carbonate film and/or films formed from the mixed carbonates of calcium magnesium carbonate, calcium iron(II) carbonate, and sodium calcium carbonate.
