Simple SummaryContent extracted from patent full text and abstract with AI.
This invention provides a secure method and system for anonymously verifying users during distance-selling (e.g., online shopping) transactions performed with prepaid payment cards. The system uses unique serial numbers and TAN (Transaction Authentication Number) codes embedded on the cards. Verification and delivery address management are handled through a network of databases and central servers, allowing users to complete purchases and receive goods without revealing personal or banking information to retailers.
