The invention provides a method and a device for producing a textile structure as well as such a textile structure itself. In order to improve the friction and wear properties within the textile structure, the individual thread systems (strands/yarns) are coated with a coating material in a defined manner before they are brought together at a joining point to form the textile structure. The feeding, coating and bringing together of the thread systems takes place in continuously successive steps, which can thus run simultaneously without requiring additional serial manufacturing steps for coating and drying the thread systems. The invention thus offers the possibility of producing such textile structures with shorter manufacturing time and correspondingly lower manufacturing costs. If necessary, the coating is marked before the thread systems are brought together.
