Die Erfindung betrifft ein Fügebauteil und ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Fügebauteils, wobei das Fügebauteil wenigstens eine Fügefläche zur form-, stoff- und/oder kraftschlüssigen Verbindung mit wenigstens einer Fügefläche eines weiteren Fügebauteils aufweist. Zur deutlichen Reduzierung der Herstellungskosten schlägt die Erfindung vor, die Fügefläche allein durch den Arbeitsgang des Hochgeschwindigkeitsscherschneidens herzustellen, wodurch nachfolgende Prozessschritte zur mechanischen Bearbeitung (z. B. Schleifen) der Fügefläche entfallen.
