Simple SummaryContent extracted from patent full text and abstract with AI.

This invention relates to a special connector designed to easily join two bodies that meet at an angle (such as frames or beams) and whose cross-section has an even number of corners (for example, square or hexagonal profiles). The connector uses two U-shaped components, arranged in a cross-like structure, which interlock and can securely hold the two angularly arranged bodies in place while allowing easy assembly and access for fixing.

Use CasesContent extracted from patent full text and abstract with AI.

  • Assembling window or door frames that meet at right angles
  • Constructing display cases or cabinets with angular joints
  • Building modular furniture or structural frames from polygonal profiles
  • Connecting building components in lightweight construction, such as aluminum extrusions for booths or enclosures
  • Joining supports in architectural or interior design applications

BenefitsContent extracted from patent full text and abstract with AI.

  • Enables simple and secure connection of angled bodies with multi-cornered profiles
  • Allows for easy assembly and accessibility for fixing screws or fasteners
  • Creates strong and stable joints, improving structural integrity
  • Reduces assembly time and complexity
  • Can accommodate a range of profile sizes and types with even-numbered corners

Patent Abstract

The invention relates to connectors for bodies arranged at angles to one another with a cross-section having an even number of corners. The connectors are distinguished in particular by the fact that bodies arranged at angles to one another with a cross-section having an even number of corners can be simply connected at angles to one another. For this purpose, the connector has two cross-shaped overlapping and U-shaped components that are connected to one another, such that – the first regions of the U-shaped components are receptacles for bodies, – the second regions of the U-shaped components define a space for a body, and – the third regions of the U-shaped components as their middle parts each bridge the second region of the respective other U-shaped component. The free first regions of the U-shaped components are formed by leg regions arranged correspondingly to one another, which are thus advantageously freely accessible for the fixation of bodies.
