Boum AG is a Swiss startup and spin-off of the University of Bern, founded by Professor Matthias Erb and Dr. Ludwig Auer. The company develops and markets Boum, a smart plant care system designed to make gardening on balconies, terraces, and indoors easy and efficient. Its products combine automatic, sensor-based and app-enabled irrigation, specially designed pots, optimized and sustainable soils, and selected robust plants.
