Patent Abstract

Simple SummaryContent extracted from patent full text and abstract with AI.

This patent describes a method for condition monitoring of a physical object by measuring a time-based signal generated by the object. The measured data is formatted as a time series, which is then represented graphically and analyzed using a classifier to determine the state of the object. The output is a status signal that identifies which of several possible states the object is in.

Use CasesContent extracted from patent full text and abstract with AI.

  • Industrial machinery monitoring to detect faults or wear
  • Monitoring of vehicles (e.g., for predictive maintenance)
  • Condition monitoring of infrastructure such as bridges or elevators
  • Medical device monitoring (e.g., patient monitoring via sensor data)
  • Quality assurance in manufacturing by monitoring equipment status

BenefitsContent extracted from patent full text and abstract with AI.

  • Enables early detection of problems or failures in physical systems
  • Supports predictive maintenance, reducing downtime and costs
  • Can automate monitoring processes, reducing the need for manual checks
  • Improves safety by identifying abnormal operating conditions quickly
  • Can be adapted for various types of physical objects and industries
