The assembly has a contact tab (12) arranged in a housing consisting of insulated material, where the housing is a plastic socket part (4). The contact tab is connected with an electrical conductor, which is guided to a power supply unit and a current consumer in an electrically-conductive manner. A coating is provided between the housing and the contact tab for increasing the adhesiveness and/or sealability between the contact tab and the housing, where the coating is made up of polyamide. The coating is supported by the application of sealing strips. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a lamp socket.
