Method and Device for Detection, Testing and/or Measurement of an Object
Simple SummaryContent extracted from patent full text and abstract with AI.
This invention describes a method and device for detecting, examining, and/or measuring an object by directing a fluid jet onto it and capturing the noise generated by this jet. By analyzing the characteristics of the noise produced, the presence of the object as well as its geometric or vibratory properties can be determined. The associated device includes a unit to produce the fluid jet, a sensor to capture the noise, and an analysis unit to extract information about the object based on the noise analysis.
Use CasesContent extracted from patent full text and abstract with AI.
- Quality control and inspection in manufacturing processes to detect or measure components without physical contact
- Industrial automation systems for rapid object presence detection
- Non-destructive testing of materials and products for structural integrity or defects
- Robotics and automated assembly for verifying part placement and orientation
- Safety systems that require rapid object detection or monitoring
BenefitsContent extracted from patent full text and abstract with AI.
- Contactless and non-destructive examination reduces wear and risk of damaging fragile objects
- Potentially faster and more automated than traditional inspection methods
- Versatile application to different types of objects and materials
- Can measure not just presence, but geometric and vibratory properties for more comprehensive inspection
- May operate in environments where optical sensors are less effective (e.g., dusty or dark settings)

Patent Abstract
