Aerosol Pressure Device and Associated Method
Simple SummaryContent extracted from patent full text and abstract with AI.
The patent describes an aerosol printing device and method that uses a light beam to monitor the print process. A light source emits a beam across the aerosol jet that is directed onto a detector. By analyzing properties of the detected light beam, the system can determine at least one property of the aerosol jet, helping to control or monitor the printing quality.
Use CasesContent extracted from patent full text and abstract with AI.
- Quality control in aerosol jet printing processes
- Real-time monitoring of additive manufacturing (3D printing) involving aerosol jets
- Optimizing high-precision surface coatings on electronic components or medical devices
- Detection and troubleshooting of printing anomalies in industrial printing systems
- Ensuring uniform deposition in manufacturing processes using sprayed materials
BenefitsContent extracted from patent full text and abstract with AI.
- Enables real-time, non-contact monitoring of the aerosol spray during printing
- Improves quality control by detecting anomalies or changes in spray characteristics immediately
- Potentially reduces material waste and rework due to early detection of issues
- Increases reliability and accuracy in precision manufacturing processes
- Can be integrated into existing industrial printing or additive manufacturing systems

Patent Abstract
