Method for Pulsation Damping in a Fluid-Conducting System
Simple SummaryContent extracted from patent full text and abstract with AI.
This invention describes a method for reducing fluid pulsations in a pipe system. The fluid moves through a damping section that includes a hose supported by a pressure cushion inside a gap formed by a housing wall. The pressure in this gap is actively regulated to minimize pulsation amplitudes, resulting in smoother fluid flow.
Use CasesContent extracted from patent full text and abstract with AI.
- Fluid transport pipelines where pressure pulsations need to be controlled
- Industrial plants with positive-displacement pumps to protect equipment from pulsations
- Medical or laboratory devices handling sensitive fluids
- Hydraulic systems in automotive or aerospace applications to improve stability
- Any fluid delivery system where consistent, low-pulsation flow is critical
BenefitsContent extracted from patent full text and abstract with AI.
- Reduces pressure pulsations, extending component lifespan
- Improves operational stability and safety of fluid systems
- Minimizes noise and vibration caused by pulsating flows
- Enables precise control of fluid flow for sensitive applications
- Can be integrated into existing fluid systems with minimal modifications

Patent Abstract
