Patient's heart three dimensional- X-ray image data record providing method, involves utilizing interpolated movement field for distorting of records, and summing distorted records to receive records
Simple SummaryContent extracted from patent full text and abstract with AI.
This invention describes a method for generating three-dimensional (3D) X-ray image data of a patient's heart. By using two-dimensional X-ray images taken at different heartbeat phases, the method reconstructs 3D images and corrects for the heart's motion. This is done by calculating a movement field and using it to align and sum the images for a clearer, more accurate final record.
Use CasesContent extracted from patent full text and abstract with AI.
- Cardiac imaging in hospitals and clinics
- Guiding minimally invasive heart procedures
- Pre-surgical planning for cardiac interventions
- Longitudinal cardiac disease monitoring
- Improved diagnostic accuracy in cardiac conditions
BenefitsContent extracted from patent full text and abstract with AI.
- Produces clearer and more accurate 3D images of the moving heart by compensating for motion
- Enables better diagnosis and treatment planning for heart conditions
- Reduces imaging artifacts caused by cardiac motion
- Facilitates more effective and safer cardiac interventions
- Improves patient outcomes by providing higher-quality diagnostic data

Patent Abstract
The method involves receiving of two-dimensional X-ray images of a heart of a patient, and producing three dimensional (3D) - X-ray image data records by reconstruction of selected two-dimensional- X-ray images. A relative condition of a selected heart beat phase is determined at heart beat phases that are assigned to the records. An interpolated movement field to the records is determined or calculated relative to a reference image based on the field and the condition. The field is utilized for distorting of the records, and the produced distorted records are summed to receive the records.
