Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Ermitteln einer Zeit-Kontrast-Kurve (34) einer Kontrastmittelkonzentration in einem Volumenelement (26) eines Körpers (24). Durch ein Angiographiesystem (12) werden in mehreren aufeinanderfolgenden Durchläufen jeweils aus mehreren unterschiedlichen Projektionswinkeln (W1, W2, W3) Aufnahmen des Körpers (24) erzeugt, wobei für jeden Durchlauf (D1 bis D7) durch eine Analyseeinrichtung (14) anhand der Aufnahmen (P1, P2, P3) des Durchlaufs ein mittlerer Kontrastwert (38) des Volumenelements (26) für den Durchlauf ermittelt und anhand der mittleren Kontrastwerte (38) aller Durchläufe (D1 bis D7) für mehrere Basisfunktionen ein jeweiliger Gewichtungsfaktor ermittelt und die Zeit-Kontrast-Kurve (34) als eine Summe aus den mit ihrem Gewichtungsfaktor gewichteten Basisfunktionen gebildet wird.
