Die Erfindung betrifft einen aktiven Transmissionsmischer für ein monostatisches Radarsystem mit einem Oszillatoreingang sowie einem Antennenport, zwei parallel verschalteten rauscharmen Verstärkern, an denen eingangsseitig das überlagerte Oszillator- und Antennenempfangssignal anliegt, wobei Signalanpassungsmittel vorgesehen sind, durch diese das am jeweiligen Verstärkereingang anliegende überlagerte Oszillator- und Antennenempfangssignal individuell für jeden Verstärker anpassbar ist, so dass die Verstärker abwechselnd im Kompressionsbereich betrieben werden, um am Transmissionsmischerausgang ein gemischtes und verstärktes Antennensignal abzugreifen.
