Die Erfindung betrifft ein Radar-System zur Erfassung eines Umfeldes eines sich bewegenden Objektes, insbesondere eines Fahrzeuges und/oder einer Transportvorrichtung, wie insbesondere eines Kranes, wobei das System auf dem sich bewegenden Objekt montiert oder montierbar ist, wobei das Radar-System mindestens ein erstes, vorzugweise nicht-kohärentes, und mindestens ein zweites, vorzugweise nicht-kohärentes, Radarmodul mit mindestens einer Antenne aufweist, wobei die Radarmodule auf dem sich bewegenden Objekt verteilt angeordnet oder anordenbar sind, wobei mindestens ein erstes Radarmodul von mindestens einem zweiten Radarmodul abweichend konfiguriert ist.
