Simple SummaryContent extracted from patent full text and abstract with AI.

This invention provides a method and device for determining blood flow within a vessel segment of a patient, factoring in the influence of gravity on the fluid (blood) in the vessel. It also includes a computer program that enables the described method when executed on a computer system.

Use CasesContent extracted from patent full text and abstract with AI.

  • Clinical diagnostics to measure and monitor blood flow in patients' vessels
  • Assessment of blood circulation during surgeries or interventional procedures
  • Research studies analyzing cardiovascular function under different gravitational conditions, such as space medicine
  • Development of non-invasive imaging equipment for vascular health monitoring

BenefitsContent extracted from patent full text and abstract with AI.

  • Improved accuracy in blood flow measurement by considering gravitational effects
  • Enhanced patient monitoring and diagnostics capabilities
  • Potential for non-invasive and real-time blood flow assessment
  • Better understanding of cardiovascular health, especially in non-standard gravity environments (e.g., space travel)

Patent Abstract
