Simple SummaryContent extracted from patent full text and abstract with AI.

This invention describes a process for pretreating and structuring an aluminum oxide-based substrate, where the substrate is colored before it is structured using laser irradiation. Coloring the substrate prior to laser treatment helps the substrate absorb the laser energy more efficiently during the structuring process.

Use CasesContent extracted from patent full text and abstract with AI.

  • Manufacturing of electronic circuit boards with precise microstructures
  • Production of high-precision aluminum oxide components for sensors or microelectromechanical systems (MEMS)
  • Fabrication of decorative or functional patterned surfaces on ceramic or aluminum oxide-based products
  • Improvement of adhesion areas for coatings or for bonding in microdevices

BenefitsContent extracted from patent full text and abstract with AI.

  • Enhanced precision in laser structuring due to increased energy absorption
  • Allows finer and more controlled patterns to be produced on aluminum oxide substrates
  • Improved process efficiency by reducing required laser power or processing time
  • Enables advanced applications in electronics, MEMS, and specialized ceramic components due to better material tailoring

Patent Abstract
