Method for Capturing an Insect
Simple SummaryContent extracted from patent full text and abstract with AI.
This invention describes a method to detect insects using a near-field radar system. The process involves sending out electromagnetic waves that get reflected by insects, capturing these reflections, and then generating radar data to confirm and analyze the presence of the insect.
Use CasesContent extracted from patent full text and abstract with AI.
- Monitoring and controlling pests in agriculture by detecting insect presence in real-time
- Automated insect detection systems in greenhouses or storage facilities
- Biodiversity research and ecological studies that require automatic insect tracking
- Integrating into smart homes or industrial environments to prevent insect infestations
- Enhancing airport or airplane safety systems by monitoring for insect presence in sensitive areas
BenefitsContent extracted from patent full text and abstract with AI.
- Provides a non-invasive and automated method for detecting insects
- Allows for continuous, real-time monitoring of environments
- Can improve pest management efficiency compared to traditional manual inspection
- Reduces the use of chemical pesticides by enabling targeted action
- Enhances data collection and analysis for research and environment management purposes

Patent Abstract
