Beschrieben wird eine Vorrichtung zum Löten eines Werkstücks (10) mittels eines Laserstrahls (30, 32) mitwenigstens einer Laserquelle (22), die dazu eingerichtet ist, einen Laserstrahl (30, 32) zu erzeugen,mit wenigstens einer der Laserquelle (22) zugeordneten Laseroptik (24);einer Zuführeinrichtung (26) zum Zuführen eines Lötdrahts (28);wobei die Laserquelle (22) und die Laseroptik (24) so ausgebildet sind, dass im Bereich eines zu bearbeitenden Werkstücks (10) und bezogen auf eine Bearbeitungsrichtung (BR) wenigstens ein vorlaufender, erster Laserstrahl (30) und wenigstens ein nachlaufender, zweiter Laserstrahl (32) auf das Werkstück (10) treffen,dadurch gekennzeichnet, dassdie Zuführeinrichtung (26) so ausgebildet ist, dass der Lötdraht (28) in Bearbeitungsrichtung (BR) nachlaufend zum zweiten Laserstrahl (32) am Werkstück (10) bereitgestellt ist.
