Arrangement for Storing Electricity for the Supply of a Building
Simple SummaryContent extracted from patent full text and abstract with AI.
This invention relates to a system for storing and supplying electricity to a building using two separate power storage units. A switching mechanism allows either storage unit to connect to either the building's internal power grid or the external power supply, ensuring flexible and reliable power management.
Use CasesContent extracted from patent full text and abstract with AI.
- Residential buildings using renewable energy (e.g., solar or wind) with battery storage.
- Commercial buildings seeking backup power solutions to increase energy reliability.
- Smart home systems that manage energy consumption and storage efficiently.
- Critical infrastructure (e.g., hospitals) requiring uninterrupted power supply.
- Microgrid setups where buildings can operate independently from the main grid.
BenefitsContent extracted from patent full text and abstract with AI.
- Provides flexible management of stored and supplied electricity for buildings.
- Enhances reliability of power supply, even during outages or grid failures.
- Optimizes use of multiple energy storage units, which can extend battery lifetime.
- Enables seamless switching between internal and external power sources for efficiency.
- Can integrate easily with renewable energy sources and smart energy management systems.
