PMU Innovations GmbH (PMU-I) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Paracelsus Medical University, established in 2016 to evaluate and commercialize medical inventions and innovations, mainly in the field of orthopedic-traumatology. Their mission is to economically exploit scientific findings to improve patient care. The company offers services including prototype development, clinical evaluation, project funding support, IP management, and CE certification opportunities. PMU-I operates a modern Innovation Workshop for prototyping medical devices and provides a Clinical Evaluation Board of renowned experts to assess clinical feasibility and support development.
