This invention is a surgical head positioning device that attaches to a body support (like an operating table) to securely and accurately support and position a patient's head during surgery. The device features a padded head rest with mechanisms for stepless height adjustment, shifting along the body's longitudinal axis, and tilting, all of which can be operated independently and, in some cases, automatically or single-handedly. It is designed for quick installation, precise, stable positioning, and easy integration into surgical workflows.
This invention is a medical kit designed for surgical procedures that require drilling, such as removing damaged or stuck bone screws. The kit consists of a surgical drill and a specialized debris collector that fits over the drill. During drilling, the debris collector, which contains a gel-like collecting agent, surrounds the working part of the drill to capture metal or bone fragments produced, thereby preventing these potentially harmful particles from entering the patient's body. The collector can also be adapted to provide cooling to the drilling area, improving safety and efficiency.
The invention is a medical positioning device, particularly designed for orthopedic surgery such as the repositioning of bone fractures. It includes two pin-carrying carriage assemblies, each with highly adjustable spherical joints allowing precise orientation (three rotational degrees of freedom), and an extension assembly for adjusting the distance between the pins. This enables controlled manipulation and stabilization of bones or bone fragments during procedures such as fracture reduction, especially for body parts like feet. The design emphasizes ease of handling, configurability for different patients or bones, and enhanced stability during use.
