Arrangement for Monitoring an Inhalation Process with an Inhaler
Simple SummaryContent extracted from patent full text and abstract with AI.
This invention pertains to a monitoring system for inhalers, utilizing a magnet and a coil within the inhalation chamber. The system measures the voltage induced in the coil during inhalation, converts this to a digital signal, and analyzes it to determine movement characteristics of the magnet, thereby providing a direct way to verify if the inhalation maneuver has been successfully performed.
Use CasesContent extracted from patent full text and abstract with AI.
- Monitoring patient inhalation in medical devices to ensure correct drug intake.
- Providing feedback to patients or healthcare providers about successful inhaler use.
- Integrating into smart inhalers for remote monitoring and digital health applications.
- Assisting in clinical trials to validate correct inhaler usage by participants.
BenefitsContent extracted from patent full text and abstract with AI.
- Enables direct verification of patient inhalation and medication delivery.
- Improves patient compliance and treatment effectiveness by confirming proper inhaler usage.
- Allows for electronic and automated tracking without the need for manual observation.
- Can be integrated into connected health systems for real-time monitoring and support.
