About

ClingTech Bionics is a German company specializing in the development and commercialization of state-of-the-art suction cups inspired by the Northern Clingfish. Their patented Clingfish-Effect® technology allows strong and reversible adhesion to both smooth and irregular surfaces, above and below water. Applications span industrial automation, robotics, marine biology (animal tagging), pool and household use, and other sectors where innovative attachment solutions are required. Founded by Dr. Petra Ditsche, the company emerged from research collaborations on biological attachment mechanisms and strives to transfer these bio-inspirations into scalable, robust, and novel products that solve challenging adhesion problems.
